Concealed Carry Holster for Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9mm / .40 with Crimson Trace Laserguard Pro

Our premium OWB (outside the waistband) holsters are precision stitched using military grade poly-thread and heavy duty nylon, custom-tailored for the Smith & Wesson - S&W M&P Shield 9mm / .40 with 3.1" barrel with Crimson Trace Laserguard Pro. The holster uses a soft inside lining that will save the finish on your firearm even with repeated use (kydex and leather holsters will damage your gun finish over time), and it is padded to give your gun a tight fit.

The holster comes configured for right-handed use on your right side, but it is ambidextrous and can be used for left-handed use as well. For left-handed use on the left side, you can switch the retention straps around and move the metal clip to the other side. The easiest way to remove the metal clip from the webbing is by using a butter knife to gently ease and pry the webbing over the hooked bottom part of the metal clip.

The retention strap is adjustable, so you can place the strap in the best location for your gun. You can adjust the retention strap by using a butter knife to release the velcro in the pockets that hold the retention straps. The thumb break retention strap allows you to quickly draw your gun, but keeps somebody else from grabbing your gun. The thumb side is made from strong plastic, allowing your thumb to easily break the retention and draw the gun in one quick, fluid motion. Other holsters made from kydex or plastic that don't use a retention strap run the risk of an attacker being able to grab your gun, so staying safe with active retention is important.

We spend a lot of time testing the fit and getting it right. If for some reason you think we've made a mistake, and the holster does not fit your gun correctly, please contact us before leaving feedback so we can get it right for you. The holster comes with a belt loop and a metal clip, both of which are heat-treated for strength. You can use either to attach the holster to your pants. The Smith & Wesson - S&W M&P Shield 9mm / .40 has a sharp front sight that will tear most nylon holsters, but we line the inside leading edge of the holster with leather, which keeps the holster from tearing, ensures a smooth draw, and provides excellent friction retention.

This holster is primarily designed for open carry and is made specifically to fit with the Crimson Trace Laserguard Pro. If you have a different laser or tac light, please contact us before purchasing to make sure the holster will fit.
